A famous natural river side picnic spot, located around 14km from clock tower in DehraDun. The water level is not deep and it is safe to go with family. The picnic spot attracts a lot of crowd during summers, especially over the weekend.
Sahastradhara is a natural water spring not far from DehraDun city. The river that flows is named as Badli river. In the recent development, a ropeway has been developed by the government. For the ease of visitors, the water tubes and bathing clothes are available on rent besides the river. The river side becomes very dirty over the weekend due to huge influx of visitors during summers.
